FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER | AGE REQUIREMENTS DIFFER BY POSITION | Part-time seasonal

Our Food & Beverage team includes both the Cafe and the Bar (ages 21+), both focused on delivering exceptional customer service to guests looking to enjoy a meal or a drink after spending time on the hill.

Kitchen roles (ages 18+) focus on quick-order food preparation with a strong commitment to high quality and food safety standards. Meanwhile, the Lodge Bar offers full-service beverages—including mixed drinks, hot chocolate, tap beer, and bottled or canned options—where bartenders usually operate individually or in pairs.

SNOW SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR | Minimum age 16YRS | Part-time seasonal

Snow School Instructors teach private and group lessons to guests of all ages and ability levels. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. Instructors are highly visible members of our team and play an important role in creating a safe, positive, and memorable experience for our guests.

• Have prior skiing and/or snowboarding experience and demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of the sport 
• Provide safe, friendly, and patient instruction while communicating effectively with guests of all ages and ability levels 
• Work outdoors for extended periods in varying winter weather conditions
• Attend required clinics and trainings and demonstrate a commitment to improving personal skills and teaching techniques throughout the season 

• PSIA-AASI membership and/or certification is preferred but not required

RENTALS TEAM MEMBER | Minimum age 16YRS | Part-time seasonal

Rental Team Members are responsible for providing guests with properly fitted ski and snowboard rental equipment based on each guest’s size, ability level, and rental needs. Equipment will include skis, snowboards, boots, poles, and helmets. 

• Obtain a HEAD/Tyrolia Rental Staff Certification 
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment, collaborating with other team members to ensure efficiency 
• Display excellent customer service assisting guests and explaining how the gear works 
• Independently use a ladder to safely reach items stored at heights 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe rental area and assist with general lodge cleaning
• Take lead in snow removal around The Lodge patio and walkways

snow tubing attendant | Minimum age 16YRS | Part-time seasonal

Snow Tubing Attendants are in constant contact with our guests and must possess friendly and helpful personalities. Attendants will perform all opening, operating and closing procedures at the Tubing Park. They will assist customers at the top and the bottom of the hill with getting into and out of snow tubes. It is the tubing attendants' responsibility to ensure customers have a safe and memorable experience!

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds on a frequent basis
• Must be able to pull loaded snow tubes across the snow
• Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting guests and clearly explaining all snow tubing rules
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Snow shoveling is required

lift operator / guest services | Minimum age 18YRS | Part-time seasonal

Lift Operators and Guest Services team members at Crystal Ridge serve as a primary contact for our guests, delivering friendly and helpful service while assisting them. Your core responsibility is to ensure that every guest enjoys a safe and pleasant experience on the lifts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Guest Service: 
  • Greeting visitors warmly and assisting guests flow  
  • Physically verify RFID tickets out on the slopes, ensuring all scans are valid
• Lift Operations: 
  • Physically holding chairs while guests load and unload chairlifts. 
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Clear snow and execute routine basic lift maintenance as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications for Lift Operators & Guest Services:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills paired with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, potentially for an entire shift.
• Physical agility to navigate both soft and hard-packed snow terrain and walk down slopes safely.

Terrain park staff | Minimum age 18YRS | Part-time seasonal

Terrain Park Staff create and maintain terrain park features including take offs, jumps and other features, and maintain all signage, markings, and safety features of the terrain parks. 

• Greet and provide outstanding guest services at all times
• Inspect, shape and test terrain park features 
• Maintain terrain park features by raking and shoveling features
• Assist lift operations, snowmaking and other outside departments. Being a team player is required of this position, you will be cross trained in lift ops.
• Follow a build plan to efficiently reset or build new features in our parks

Snowmaking & Operations | Minimum age 18YRS | Part-time seasonal

The Operations Department is responsible for ensuring all hill equipment and lifts are functioning properly. This department also consists of our snowmaking team. Snowmaking shifts range from 8-12 hours and takes place when weather allows. Several overnight shifts (9PM-9AM) will be required. You must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and have a flexible schedule. Snowmakers are responsible for the set up and operational duties of our snowmaking system. Prior experience is not required; however, a basic understanding of maintenance/power tools is preferred. Ski or snowboarding experience is not necessary but prior knowledge of either is beneficial. Snowmakers will also be trained in lift operations and can work lift shifts when snowmaking shifts are not needed. 

• Pay starts at $18/hr (depends on experience) 
• Work outside with a small team and by yourself
• Be able to navigate around the hill in slippery, winter, conditions
• Requires heavy lifting, minimum of 50 pounds, often above shoulder level
• During shifts, you may perform basic maintenance tasks around the hill/lodge

Our cafe staff is responsible for meeting customers’ needs in terms of food and beverage, as well as ensuring clean and sanitary conditions of The Lodge area. Duties as a Kitchen Lead/Supervisor include but are not limited to training on food prep, operating a fryer and/or oven, operating a cash register, cleaning, restocking items and putting away and organizing orders. A key role will be leading a team through opening and/or closing procedures as well as ensuring the kitchen is set up for success. Organization and cleanliness are a must!

• Pay starts at $17/hr (depends on experience) 
• Previous F&B experience required 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor
• Flexibility and willingness to perform various duties
• Lead pre opening tasks such as cleaning, organizing orders and prep work
• Display excellent communication and organizational skills
• Assist F&B manager with day-to-day duties and various tasks
