Crystal Ridge (formerly Rock Snowpark) is a skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing hill located within Ballpark Commons in Franklin, WI. Owned and operated separately from the rest of the complex, Crystal Ridge operates its ski season mid November through mid March. In the off season The Lodge is a wedding and event venue. Crystal Ridge is a great beginner hill for those looking to learn the sport of skiing or snowboarding. With a full service rental and snow school department we strive to introduce new participants to the sport each winter! Whether you are an experienced skier or interested in learning, or you just want to work in a fun, fast paced environment, Crystal Ridge is the place for you! Join our team today!

NOW HIRING - Wedding & Event Team Members

Part-Time hours May - October 

Bartenders (21yrs+)

  • Starting bartender pay is $14/hr plus tips (guaranteed $20/hr)
  • Previous bartending experience is required
  • Previous cocktail knowledge/mixing is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced event type setting
  • Shifts are typically 8hrs long Friday, Saturday & Sundays 

Bar Backs (18yrs+)

  • Starting bar back pay is $14/hr
  • Ability to work in a fast paced event type setting
  • Assist bartenders and the event manager in keeping the bar stocked and venue clean
  • Shifts are typically 6-8hrs Friday, Saturday & Sundays 

Event Staff (16yrs+)

  • Starting event staff pay is $14/hr
  • Duties include setting up floor plans, cleaning, trash removal, ceremony set/take down, security and parking
  • Ability to work with others and direct/greet guests in a professional manner
  • Shifts are typically 4-8hrs long Friday, Saturday & Sundays AM or PM

Event Supervisor (21yrs+)

  • Event Supervisor pay starts at $18 and is based on experience
  • Duties include managing event and bar staff, working with clients on the day of the event to meet their needs, coordinating with vendors to ensure timelines run smoothly, and supervising set ups, clean ups and room flips
  • While you would not be responsible for bartending events, some knowledge of bartending is helpful
  • Shifts are typically 4-8hrs long Friday, Saturday & Sundays AM or PM

Rentals Manager- Seasonal Full-Time

+21yrs| Relevant experience PREFERRED 

  • Pay is hourly and depends on experience (starting at $18/hr). Nights, weeknights and weekend hours
  • Provide leadership and coordination for all skiing and snowboarding rentals 
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Lead a team of 20-30 part-time employees (hire, train, schedule)
  • Oversee all aspects of our rental equipment (fitting, maintenance, inventory)
  • Work closely with the snow school and groups managers. Report directly to the General Manager 

Requirements: 

  • Experience skiing/snowboarding is recommended, but not required
  • Weekend and evening availability
  • Relative management/supervisor experience
  • Strong organization and technology skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment while offering exceptional customer service 

Position Overview:  We can’t teach the sport of skiing and snowboarding without the proper equipment. Our rental department is extremely important to our everyday operation, especially to those learning the sport. The rental manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rental building, scheduling, training and working alongside rental staff. This manager should enjoy working both inside and outside, working with their hands and be familiar with basic shop tools. The rental manager ensures guests are getting fitted with the proper equipment as well as providing excellent customer service. This position requires prior customer service experience and the individual should have some prior experience with skiing or snowboarding. The rental manager will report directly to the General Manager. It is of utmost importance that each guest feels cared for and comfortable in their rental equipment.

This manager will work very closely with the Snow School manager as these two departments are in the same building. Strong communication and group work skills are a must. The rental manager and department staff also take lead in the overall appearance of the lodge grounds (snow removal, trash, etc). We are in the business of creating lifelong skiers and snowboards, you can be a part of that customer's journey during their rental experience! 

This is a full time, seasonal position. Work typically begins mid October and ends mid March. The manager is expected to be on site before, during and sometimes after operating hours. Nights and weekends are required. Possible full-time year-round work available with our growing summer business. Join our team for an exciting winter season where no two days are the same!

Snow Tubing Manager - Seasonal Full-Time

  • Provide leadership and support for a department of team of 30-40
  • Responsible for nearly all aspects of our snow tubing park (training/scheduling, day to day operations, efficiency)
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate age appropriate communication skills with guest and staff 

Requirements: 

  • Weekend and evening availability
  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme winter weather conditions (navigating different types of snow surfaces and completing physically demanding tasks).
  • Relative management/supervisor experience
  • Can handle a fast paced environment and make adjustments on the fly
  • Must be able to speak in front of groups/staff/customers

Position Overview: Our snow tubing park is the busiest area on the hill. We are looking for an upbeat and positive individual to lead a team and provide outstanding customer service to our snow tubing guests. The snow tubing manager ensures that our snow tubing park is staffed accordingly and operating in an efficient and safe manner for our customers. This position requires to be very hands on and vocal with guests and employees. Majority of snow tubing guests are families and young kids. The manager will work closely with our outside operations department and report to the general manager. 

The tubing manager will oversee all scheduling and training of our tubing department. This position requires a risk management type thinker and holds safety of guests and employees to the utmost importance. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outside, interacting with others and have outstanding customer service skills. This position also allows for creativity in problem solving and working with your hands. The right individual could also take on the coordination and scheduling of tubing group visits.  

This is a full time, seasonal position (40-60hrs/week). Work typically begins late October and ends mid March. The manager is expected to be on site before, during and sometimes after operating hours. Nights and weekends are required. Possible full-time year-round work available with our growing summer event business. Tubing is a fantastic, family oriented winter activity at Crystal Ridge and we are looking for the next individual to support and continue to grow this side of our business.
