Now owned and managed by Little Switzerland, there are major changes in store for the Rock Snow Park!  Here are a few highlights:

Ski All The Terrain

Unlike the most recent years of the Rock Snow Park, we will be making snow on the entire hill and skiing all of the terrain possible.  We are transforming the area to a family-friendly area for everyone.  We will expand on the tubing park and terrain parks that were offered in recent years, but will also offer regular ski runs for every type of skier or boarder.  More snow means more fun!

Expanded Beginner Area and Programs

 We are expanding the beginner area and will be offering traditional ski and snowboard lessons as well as the popular learn-to programs offered at Little Switzerland.  Details coming soon.  

Lift Improvements

We are adding a high speed rope tow in place of the green Hall Chairlift that was beyond repair.  This rope will provide access to 90% of the skiable terrain  and provides 3 times the uphill capacity at more than double the speed of a traditional chair lift.  More runs= more fun = more value!

We will also be extending the Ridge handle Tow all the way to the top of the hill.  For the first time, there will be lift service to the very top of the hill!

Our top-notch lift mechanics will be going through all of the existing lifts from top to bottom to make sure they are operating safely and efficiently all season long!

Snowmaking

We take snowmaking very seriously at all of our resorts!   We pride ourselves on being one of the first to open and maintaining the best possible conditions all season long.  We will be replacing the entire pipeline on the ski hill and making pump house upgrades to provide the very best product for our guests.
